East Midlands on the map

In 2024/25 two of our East Midlands directors are taking leading national roles:

• Melanie Williams is the president of the National Association of Adult Social Services (ADASS).
• Andy Smith is the president of the National Association of the Directors of Children’s Services (ADCS).

They have agreed a shared presidential priority of supporting young people and their families with a focus on SEND, preparing for adulthood and transition.
